Our Story
The Major Oak is a famous English Oak tree located in Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom. According to folklore, this tree was the tree where Robin Hood and his Merry Men took shelter underneath. The Oak tree symbolizes longevity, strength, stability, endurance, fertility, power, justice, and honesty.

The connection between Robin Hood and our founder is based on his family heritage. The family folklore is that the Bowman's are descendants of Robin Hood and the Merry Men. This combined with the strong symbolism of the Oak tree were the inspiration behind the name, Major Oak.
Our leadership team has a breadth of experience ranging from enterprise level integrations, to bringing a startup's vision to life.
